An updated rendering of Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic Gold Double Eagle design, showcasing Lady Liberty striding forward in front of the U.S. Capitol. She holds a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, with her hair flowing in the wind against a radiant backdrop—symbolizing liberty and strength.

Reverse Design:
Designed by Jennie Norris and introduced in 2021, the reverse features a bold and dignified profile of a bald eagle. Inscriptions include:
“UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the coin’s face value and weight. This was the first major redesign of the Gold Eagle series since its inception in 1986.
