An enhanced version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ classic Gold Double Eagle artwork, featuring Lady Liberty advancing forward with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The Capitol building appears in the background, with sun rays shining behind her—symbolizing progress and strength.

Reverse Design:
Created by Jennie Norris, the updated reverse showcases a striking profile of a bald eagle. Inscriptions include:
“UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the coin’s face value and weight. This marks the first major design change since the American Gold Eagle series debuted in 1986.
